MYAthlon confirmed for October 10, 2011 (Thanksgiving weekend)
Assalamu Alaikum MYathlon Participants!
Tomorrow is the big day and we have some late minute information you need to know.
- The tournaments will be held in the Hershey Centre Sports Complex
- You must be ON TIME for registration or else your team is disqaulified from the tournament. The minmum number of players per sport must be present on time in order to ensure the tournament runs on schedule.
Boys Soccer and Sisters Basketball registration is from 9:00-9:45
Boys Basketball and Sisters Soccer registration is from 12:00-1:00
- You must present I.D. in order to play tomorrow
- The consession stand will be open from 11 am – 2 pm. Vending machines are available through out the facility
- Soccer participants must wear cleat and shin guards for your safety
- If you know anyone who would like to volunteer, bring them along! We can always use extra help!

Assalamu Alaikum MYathlon Participants!
We are thrilled for this upcoming Monday where teams will go head to head for a healthy competition of soccer or basketball! We have a great tournament planned with you and bet you have lots of questions in regards to the day. We will try our best to keep you informed. Here is some information you need to know for Monday, inshAllah:
- if you have not paid, your team will not be included in the schedule. Please ensure payment has been received by Saturday
- schedules of the tournament and when your team will play will be given to you on Monday when you register your team
- The overview of the tournament and registration time are as follows:
RESGISTRATION AT 9:00 am:
Brothers Soccer Tournament: 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
Sisters Basketball Tournament: 10:00 am- 1:00 pm
REGISTRATION IS AT 1:00 pm (if you are participating in both sports, you only register at 9am)
Brothers Basketball Tournament: 1:30pm – 4:30 pm
Sisters Soccer Tournament: 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm
- DRESS CODE: Participants must adhere to Islamic dress code. Brothers can wear shorts to the knees. Female players are to adhere to the Islamic dress code. Girls must have their hair fully covered and wear long-sleeves. Shorts will not be permitted. Please note that we are planning to have a female area only, however, this cannot be guaranteed.
- Please be aware that sportsmanship is encouraged, and foul play and/or inappropriate language on or off the courts will result in penalties or disqualification of the team.
- The draw for the XBOX KINECT will occur during lunch at the Hershey Centre
- 1st place winners of each tournament will receive a cheque with the team captains name, where he/she can distribute it amongst their team members.
